Re: Vintage Columbia Car Corp. Parcar?
I haven't updated in a while, this project gets shoved to the back burner and has almost been scrapped 100 times.
Here are some pics from my last big push on finishing. I have decided now, what I should have decided years ago...Pay someone else to do it. |

Re: Vintage Columbia Car Corp. Parcar?
When I took the rust off and painted with rustolium heavy rust primer to " " protect it, it just rusted again, and again.
I've decided I either need to scrap it, or take it to get done properly somewhere. |

Re: Vintage Columbia Car Corp. Parcar?
My Prev work as shown prev in this thread wasn't...totally wasted, just mostly wasted. I learned a lot, and I surely saved some labor time at the sandblasters/metal working.
Now totally disassembled, along with another cart, and taken to the sandblasters. To get both carts sandblasted and primed is only ~$200... I wish to god I had spent the $ instead of the time I wasted. because of the leaf spring size, and complete unavailibilty, I am having the cart modified to put a common leaf spring size in. also both need minor metal working done. less than $100 |

Re: Vintage Columbia Car Corp. Parcar?
I am also considering having the cart cut in half, and stretched 3ft or so. to make it a limo. ~$150
Any thoughts on limo stretch. |
