Default One battery not charging.

Hello and Thanks, i have a 1990 Marathon 36v, Put new batteries in April, just two months ago. One battery will not take a charge, the other 5 will bubble and charge. I can take one of these batteries and switch with the same spot and it won't charge, but the one I took out of that spot will start charging just fine.

The battery spot that won't charge has the pos. wire coming from the solenoid. I have put new cables on all batteries, and now have put a new one from the battery to the solenoid.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Mike

You have your charging cable connected on the wrong battery. You are only charging 5 batteries.... not 6.

Likely you are overcharging the 5 also.

Take your voltage meter and check the reading where your charge wires connect.

Refer to FIG. E below... your main cart connections and charger connections are on the same posts... see the + and - closest to where it says 'Front'

Scotty that is exactly what it was. Do you think over charging has hurt the other batteries?

Thanks for all of your help. Mike
