Newbie - Help w/95 CC - Clutch

I'm new here and need advise/help. I got a '95 CC Gas a while back and have started having a proplem. Sometimes, not always, when you start to go, the engine seems to run but the cart doesn't move. With the seat out I can press the gas pedal and I can see everything turning but the drive belt not moving. I can bump the belt with a long screwdriver and it catches and goes. The belt appears to be new (it still has bright white letters/numbers on it). Any advise?

It's possible the clutch needs rebuilding.....................

Someone else with more experience should be with you soon..............
