Can you please supply more details? What model is it? Is it Sepex or Series, or resistor if it's old?

A wire may have come loose or it may be more serious, but we need more details.

1:so can you push the cart to move it?

2:Or the cart wont move on its own?

1: you could have blown the motor. these motors dont like RPM's
2: check for any loose connections.

Does the solenoid click when the pedal is pushed?

The throttle box is below the floor and vulnerable to bottoming out. Check the wiring and mechanical linkage closely.

Need to know what type drive system to troubleshoot further.
Plug your serial number into this website to find out what you've got.
http://www.shopezgo.com/customer-ser...ialNumber.html

Or identify whether it is a series cart or a PDS cart from attached chart.

My cart is a 2002 txt electric. I need to know where something could have come unplugged to get it going. There is no sound at all whn I hit the pedal.

Ezgo made 2 completely different electric drive systems in 2002, can you identify your's using the chart posted above?

Have you looked underneath to see if there are any wires damaged or hanging down?

IIRC, TXT Electric is how E-Z-GO describes a TXT with a Series wound motor on their serial number look-up site.
I know they describe my cart as a "TXT (PDS)"
billydemp has changed the year from 2004 in an earlier post to 2002, so I suspect he looked up his serial number and it is what we call a series cart.

OF course, my reasoning might be wrong, but I'll post this anyway.

IF it is in fact a series cart and the reverse beeper sounds, but the Solenoid doesn't activate when Pedal is pushed, the most likely suspects are the wire from Key Switch to the Pedal Box and the wire from the Pedal Box to the Solenoid coil.

I checked the pedal and it does make a click sound so could it be something else?
