Unless it's bent so bad that the sheave won't slide, it should still be able to drive.

Ok so I noticed that the rear isnt closing. It will rarely get the belt to quick spin but wont close to grab the belt. Like I said if I spin the one attached to the axle it will move the golf cart forward and backward. But using the throttle I get nothing. The belt just sits still.

If you take the belt off, can you push the clutch closed? You will have to overcome the spring pressure, but you should be able to just push the outer sheave with both hands and get the clutch to close up.

I am guessing the spring is bad. I didnt even have to remove the belt and I could push it close with little resistance. I barely even pushed it and it closed

If you could push it closed by hand, and it won't close with motor rpm, there is likely more wrong under the cover. Pull the cover off and check the spring and the weights.

My impression is he is talking about the driven clutch. sounds like it is either gummed up or the spring inside is bad?

I havent been able to get that last bolt off due to short of hands. But I have the small bolts off and I push the clutch in the clutch will stay in place. Im guessing that it is staying because of the small bolts are off or is it still suppose to spring back?

The picture that was posted is the drive clutch. When you push it in, it should return under spring pressure. If you took the 6 screws out, only the cover will return under spring pressure. The outer sheave will float.
