You gotta love sellers like that Well, I found my workhorse at what I considered a bargain and I'm building at a bargain... Right now I have a lot more time than $ But I will have a tachometer on it AND a seatbelt and ROPs But hey, I'm not young and invincible anymore

Well, I am no where near 30 mph or even feeling unsafe at speed yet. I just wanted more speed uphill, was really slow at first on large hills. I just wanted to make sure I didnt hurt the motor. I sold my Sportsman 700 and got this to slow down, I am not aiming to go fast. Thanks for the input.

Finally got around to measuring my mph with GPS. Seems I'm governed to roughly 20mph on flat or downhill ground. Still does 16 up a fairly steep hill in my neighborhood tho. That us what I was looking for.

Are you talking about the engine in the RXV?

I don't really know. I only have a model number. I do know its a two place golf cart owned by a friend. It went for a swim with IKE (the hurricane) and now he's trying to restore it for his wife. Anything to keep her Happy, like all good hubbies.

Oh I get it, must be a club car golf cart. fe290 is one of their engines.
Your going to need to post this in the club car gas section
I can tell you that if he's just now getting around to trying to fix it after it was sunk in ocean water, there's probably not much that'll be good.

I know people have the engines and start/gen for sale pretty cheap, If his rear end is good he might get lucky. check in the club car section, i'm an ezgo guy so i'm not as familiar with those
