The cam and rev kit will fit, if your engine has the graphoil head gaskets
you can get the metal ones there about a 1/3 the thickness more
compression = more power..!!!!

I just removed the old FE290, and put in the 16HP Briggs to see if it would fit and it does perfect without hitting. I think there is enough room to install the starter in the same place.

I'm glad with the results. I knew it was going to fit, cause the owner had the same engine in a 2000 Club Car DS. I'll post some more information on that engine progress on rebuilding and than, I will picture some progress.

I'm buying the Vangaurd Performance Gasket, Hi-Rev Kit, K&N Air Filter, and some more. I'll make it fast.

Its a 1996 Club Car DS. I put the old Kawasaki FE290 4-Stroke for sale, and its complete with starter/generator and so yeah. I'm just waiting to sell that asap.
