Well, a section of land here is a square mile, which equals 640 acres. The land isn't perfectly square, but my house is near the middle so it's less than a mile from the house to anywhere on the place. I'm unlikely to put more than a few miles a day on it.

They claim 350 amps for one second, but I understood the 120 to be the continuous rating. They are good about trying to answer questions, so I will ask. Thanks for the reply.

So I bought one of these Amazon cheapos and installed it in the cart yesterday. It was $702, including tax and shipping, so much cheaper than another set of FLAs. The cart is definitely faster, and I had no issue climbing the hills on the farm. I didn't get it into the steepest off road trail that I have, but I will try to test it there soon.

I think it will be a decent battery for a cart that sits at the farm and doesn't get used but maybe 30 days a year. I don't mind spending the money on a better battery for my regular cart, but this one just doesn't need a lot of range.

I'll post back if I have any problems with it.

According to a quick google search they are 43.6lbs and 20.94L x 8.15w x 8.46h and as already discussed here they are 60ah and 2c (120amp continuous discharge)

Augie already got them for you, but I went to Amazon to get a link for you and these batteries are sold out. They still have the 100 amp hour, but they are $1200. I think I would put a little more money with it and buy a brand name before spending that much on a Li time.

I didn't ask for them I was just giving them to the other person who asked without sharing the link because we're not supposed to really share links for non sources. I've assembled my own battery packs and had good luck with it so far. Personally I don't think any sealed plastic battery pack is ideal since you can't really easily get to the BMS and service if needed.

Thanks, I didn't even know we weren't supposed to include links. I have read the threads you and others have posted here, and found them very interesting. If I were younger and felt better, I would probably try to build one. But this one has a 5 year warranty, and if it will last that long that's likely longer than I'm gonna be able to run it anyway.

I totally understand your point of view yeah I didn't really realize it at first either until a moderator had mentioned it I still share links for things that there isn't any vendor on here selling

I just bought this Li Time battery. Put it in my 2001 EZGO TXT 36v PDS Cart. It will turn on, and go in reverse to get out of shed. As soon as I press accelerator, assuming BMS kicks in and cart (battery) completely shuts off. No lights, no beeping, no reverse. Is this a faulty BMS in a new battery or is this battery not compatible with this cart/motor?
