Otm electrical problem
I have a O.T.M golf cart with a curtis controller. The issue currently is that I cant get the cart to run. I don't know where to start fault finding as I dont have any manuals or wiring diagrams on this unit.If I switch the tow switch on the controller has a orange led flashing. I am also not too sure of the wiring as well as the one connector on the controller where there is a 4 pin connector that has nothing connected to it. All help will be appreciated.Does somebody have a simple wiring diagram for me to check the wiring first.

Also, the led is a diagnostic tool, so you need to count the sequence and let us know what controller model it is. So it might blink 4 times, then one time and that would tell you what the problem is but you will need a manual from Curtis so you can sort that out |

Re: Otm electrical problem
Thank you Speedchaser it is a Curtis 1266 SepEx controller. Is there any parts that can cause the flickering of the LED. Is there a logical way of testing the carts electrics and all the parts?

Re: Otm electrical problem
. . . count the LED flashes, it will flash a two digit code . . . then look at page 47 here:
Attachment 71922 . . . be aware that multiple fault codes could be flashed . . . |

Re: Otm electrical problem
The batteries is fairly new and works in my 3 wheeler cart so I dont think there is any issues with my batteries. It measures 36V I have also replaced the solenoid but the problem is still the same. One thing I noticed was that I have a blue and white wire coming from the forward/backward switch hanging at the back of the cart not connected to anything. Where must this wire go? It's got a lug on like it should slide over a terminal or something?
