Precedent Rear Bearing Advice
Hey guys and gals,
Have any of you replaced a rear axle bearing on a club car? Looks like I can buy a whole rear axle shaft for my electric Precedent with a bearing on it for $300 or just the bearing I need for $15. But I don't have a press. Is it possible to replace the bearing without a press? |

Better solution would be to find someone to press off the old bearings and press on the new ones. I just did a Yamaha set and found a guy with a press to do it. 15 minutes later we were done and I gave him $20 for his time. He was happy to make more than a dollar a minute and I was happy to pay him. I haven't done a CC so I can't say they are any easier or harder to do. |

Re: Precedent Rear Bearing Advice
Yeah that's good advice.
I actually figured out the sound was from worn out brake shoes (the auto adjustment was fully extended) so they were always rubbing but I'm adding wheel spacers...I know tisk tisk...so will probably need to do them at some point soon anyway |
