Default Post pics of rear racks

Im wanting to build an mount a custom rack to my 86 Marathon, and I am wondering the best way to mount it. Anyone with a rear cargo rack on their cart, post up some pictures of the rack, expecially how it mounts. THanks.

Here is what Outback Fabricators (www.OutbackFabricators.com) did for me. I designed it up and they built it just how I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with it...

I went to Tractor Supply and picked up some of their heavy duty rubber mat that is 3/8" thick and cut it to fit nice and snug on the bottom. It keeps things from sliding around quite nicely.

Here is the one I made for the GF's cart. I made one just like it and put on my PDS. Tailgate folds down. I ran two braces down to the frame in the back. She has had a couple hundred pounds of feed in basket with no problem. I made it out of 1 square tubing.

Not to hi jack this thread, but this is a topic that I wanted to see as well. Great idea, I have a hitch haul basket that this could work for. Also what size wheel tire are you using? Any rubbing? I like the idea of tires and wheels before the lift...

I modified a piece of rebar and an old bed frame.

Next I attached it to the back of the cart.

I purchased an aluminum cargo basket from Tractor Supply and trade back and forth between the basket and rear seat.

Hey Stew, my cart is a 07 PDS, no lift, with 10 inch wheels and 20 inch tires. No problems with rubbing.
