Re: Bokes's g9
Ya, I know they are, that's why I don't just want another camo cart. I want it to look cool but still show it was made for hunting. Might just be in what accessories I had to show the hunting side.

I'm not to up on Realtree. I'm more of a Mossy Oak guy when I hunt but, it does look pretty sweet!

Re: Bokes's g9
Made a couple more pieces this morning.
A cup holder cover... And a gas tank lid... I have to make another cut in the gas tank lid and get a small hinge. |

Re: Bokes's g9
awesome job on the cup holder and gas cover! the gas cover looks like you just bought it for sure,,perfect lookin fit.
youve already prob saved over a couple hundred bucks get more cheap boxes! i have taken a few and split them down the center long ways, then weld in the panels needed to make 2 side boxes for a truck..and fit a piece in for the lids and add hinges and weather stripping ..i still have a small one, maybe i should finish it for the buggy made a couple bucks doing it and selling them,,heck, you dont need a job brother,,you need a few customers that like your work. gave me a welder and since then i have never worked for anyone,,screw that! but insurance would be nice w/benifits.. 10 yrs ago a buddy |

Re: Bokes's g9
Thanks Sassy. I enjoy doing stuff like this. I can be in the shop by myself, piddling around. Got a fan going and some music playing, I can spend all day out there.
I seen a lid like that on eBay, that's what made me think of it. They wanted $28 for it. It took me 30 minutes to make maybe. |

Re: Bokes's g9
Checked eBay prices on the stuff I made so far.
Rocker covers...$67, $15 shipping Kickplate (cheesy 6")...$25, $10 ship Bagwell plate...$28, $10 ship Fuel lid...$37, free ship Total with shipping...$182 Paid $50 for the tool box and still have a bunch of aluminum left over. Knowing that I made these things myself...Priceless For what I saved, I can have Riley make me some custom seatcovers. |

Re: Bokes's g9
Fuel lid all complete. Used a piece of the piano hinge off the lid and one of the attachment points for the hydraulic cylinders as a knob. Cheap ******* I am.
