Opinions: buy a 2008 txt, 2012 rxv or 2014 txt...
Hi all,
I've gotten some great advice so far. Narrowed it down to three choices, and would love your opinions. 2008 txt PDS. $1600. It's 36v, so I'd be looking at a chip and controller package. 2012 rxv. $2300. I get 48v but I know this year rxv can have issues. 2014 txt $2900. I get 48v but DC. Seems likens might be able to get by with only programming it for now. Then controller later. I'm trying to decide whether it's better to put more money in now and wait on some of the other options. Based on my research it seems a 48 V would be nice to have if possible. I'm not sure if I like the auto breaking of the RX V, although I know it can save you on break pads and rotors later. The 2014 TXT did seem to accelerate a little faster than the 2008. I know obviously that the controller and Schiphol change that though. Thanks as always for your insight. |
