Default Need help please 2002 CLUB CAR 48V

Just bought a 2002 Club Car 48V, didn't move at all when I got it, sent to the shop, now will move, however forward is slow and reverse is fast as if something is hooked up backwards Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, sounds like they have it hooked up backwards as reverse is only supposed to be 1/2 speed.

What kind of FNR switch do you have? Is it the arm lever or the rocker switch?

Mine is an IQ so it has a rocker, but I remember this happening not too long ago with someone else and I ~think that did it, so try to swap them at the shifter and see if that does it. Be sure to remove/disconnect your battery pack first before you do anything with the cables.

And if that does not do it, someone will provide more advice as soon as they see this.

Dang, that sounds like a controller issue. Put it back like it was ~suppose to be and allow some time for one of the more experienced members to throw out some ideas. I cannot think of anything else but the controller but some of them will have a good testing procedure to try on it.

Look under your dash and post the Serial #. I want to look it up as I believe we can determine if it is a series or regen.

It is a 2002 DS 48 V -- is that what you need?
