Default Oil Drain

Is the oil drain on a G-16 right below the dipstick? Just checking.. Also, no oil filter right?

Thanks!

Yes, and yes, no filter.

Be sure to use 10w30 and no oil additives.

Drain plug is driver's side, below the dip stick 17mm. There is a little cutout on the engine cover. Use the syn. oil if you will bypassing the governor and running high rpm's. For normal driving, any 10w30 is fine. We just suggest the syn. (Mobil 1) for extreme engine operation due to friction and heat. If the cart has several hours on the engine and you switch to syn., be sure to keep an eye out for any leaks. Syn. oil contains cleaning agents that could possibly cause a seal to leak. I've never seen this happen in a golf cart, but mentioning it since I have seen it in auto's.
