Or you could just build a sail cart and pass on the battery altogether.

A sail is probably cheaper than a lithium pack. I won't need to worry about over-revving the motor either.

Hmmm...a 50mph sail cart. I'll need to put 800 pounds of ballast in it. Maybe a bunch of dead FLA batteries.

I'll be working on this project.

Someday.

That's for sure!

So far we've had reviews on:

2- Eco Battery's Both 72Ah
2- Roypow's One 105 and one 160
2- Allied Multiples One 60 and one 90
2- Big Battery's One BDGR 80 and One HUSKY 103
2- DIY Batteries One 100 and one 120
2- Extreme Team One 100 and One 150

Without a doubt, everyone of them are well pleased with the performance they are getting and their choice of batteries.

Thank you to all reviewers for taking the time to post your personal specs.

Tom

I finally got around to checking my Ah/mi today. This is very hilly roads, city driving (Chattanooga) so the pedal was to the metal most of the time and the only upgrade that would make a difference is the AMD7144 7 hp speed/torque motor. The result was 2.85Ah/mi.

Thanks, Walter. That must be exciting riding on hills. I thought about trailering mine to hills, but the closest are 4 hours away.

With 80Ah available down to the 20% SOC,, divided by 2.85Ah/mile, your range can be safely estimated at 28 miles. That is exceptional with your pack and terrain.

2003 CC DS

1) ECO Gen2
2) 105ah
3) 51 nominal
4) Navitas 600 DC
5) D&D HS
6) 20.5 OD
7) Series IQ
90% pavement
9) 29 miles 40% 52.3 volts
10) 14mph Avg 25 top speed

Love this cart. It feels more like a go cart with all the torque it has
Brings out the kid in you
Little confused on the voltage #s.
Eco explained that 51.2 should be 50% charge and 50.0v is 10%
my meter read 40% at 52.3.??

Set the meter to 100% after a full charge for calibration.
