Battery/ charger problem
I have a powerwise qe charger. After running the cart all weekend and charging the batteries, I plug in the charger and I'm getting low voltage fault. I charged the batteries in pairs with a 12v charger. My battery meter is showing full charge I plug the charger in and it's showing the same fault low voltage. Can someone give me a few things I should be looking for. Thanks

Re: Battery/ charger problem
What are the voltages on each battery?
Also check the voltage on the charger connector. Do you have another charger to try or can you try your charger on another cart? Make sure your charger plug and connecter contacts are clean. |

Re: Battery/ charger problem
Clean the Auxiliary contact in the plug and the outside of the terminal it touches in the receptacle.
If the charger is bad, which it may very well be, replace it with a DPI Accusense charger and be done with your charger problems. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/48v_Battery_Charger.html |

Re: Battery/ charger problem
Before you buy a new charger - make sure your old one is dead.
Now that batteries are charged - try yours again, see if it works. Also might try a little troubleshooting on the old charger. |
