My controller is from D&D and is a 500 amp unit although I do not see a model number. The cart is a 2006 TXT PDS, 36 volts. I would not have a clue as to how to re-program, if it's possible perhaps someone can forward a link explaining how to do it?

Thanks

D&D doesn't make controllers, only motors. They certainly sell controllers. It's most likely a Curtis and you didn't see a model number because the sticker is on the lower end of the controller and once mounted is nearly impossible to see without a mirror (hint, hint).

As for programming instructions, you HAVE to know what you got before anyone can advise you from here on out. If in doubt call D&D, they sold the equipment and can offer advise/instructions.

Digital cameras can also be used to see hard to reach things.

Good news, your DCX600 is programmable. Bad news you need a laptop and a special cable. Here's the Alltrax programmer software website with instructions.

Hey Jake,

If I get a long enough cable, maybe you can program it for me from your computer

USB is limited to 15 feet max without repeaters. You could move the desktop to the garage or driveway if need be.

I have seen it done with the usb cable running out the window.... but that can lead to some disastrous results if the cart is not on jack stands

Maybe you can call around to the local shops and find somebody to do it for you.
