Is it the OEM Powerdrive Charger? If so, you need to let it charge until it cuts off automatically. If you suspect an issue with your OBC, then reset it by removing the Main Pack Negative cable for 20 mins and reinstall it. If you have a Run/Tow switch, place it in Tow before doing any work on it.

As MC said, do not do any of those things you mentioned. Taboo all the way.

Once your charger turns off (could be up to 16 hours), wait 12 hours and then check the pack voltage. You should be 50.93v or higher.

Bubbling/gurgling is completely normal so do not be concerned there....

If it has an FNR lever, it is a Series cart. If it has a Fwd/Rev rocker switch, it is a Sepex.

Do you know anything about the history of the batteries? Even though they are not that old they may be shot if not taken care of.

Have you let the charger run until it shuts off? How long after charging did you take the voltage readings?

Ok it is a series cart because of the FNR slides left to right on panel that's behind lower legs while driving. Also the water level could be alittle higher than normal I can take just a bit out of each cell and use a paint stick or something to make sure there all same level. Also I was looking at batteries last night one of them looks Rusty and merky water inside. I will put cart on charger and keep it on and let it do it's thing and we shall see what happens. Any other things you guys can think of? I'll put it on the charger around 5:00 this afternoon .... Thank you guys for your help as this is new for me ..

Sounds good.

And the variation of water levels will not hurt you as long as all the plates are covered. As far as the murky colored water, could have been tap water installed and one point or the batteries water level could have been ran low and damaged the plates during a charge. I have seen both cause this before....

Do NOT remove water from batteries. Ever.
Once it's in the battery it's not plain water anymore. It's sulfuric acid. And removing any of it will alter the specific gravity of the acid solution in the battery and damage the battery.

Kinda sounds like those batteries are probably shot anyway, just putting it out there that removing water from a battery is not a good idea.
