Re: Rookie
Roger that one... well runs well now, cleaned out fuel pump, auto oiler had a cracked line-repaired, ran the cart for over an hour on all terrain very pleased in general. Don't yell at me...I went through the threads, it jerk starts reving up..... once engaged it transitions well throughout the throttle positions, belt seems okay (belt dressing applied) Read these 2 cycle G1 are notorious for jerky starts, any modifications to smooth it out, my wife is going to use it, she is not timid but ....

Re: Rookie
Drive belt needs to be replaced. Too narrow--sitting low in the secondary.

Re: Rookie
I don't think you should be using belt dressing these CVT systems.
get the primary and secondary tools and service your clutches. clean up and lubricate them. This could also cause some jerkiness. Is your primary stock or the aftermarket comet style? This is for the stock primary clutch only. You wont find this size bolt with that the correct thread pitch. If you have a comet clutch I can show you how to make a tool for those. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Drive-Clutc...0839%7Ciid%3A1 secondary clutch tool. try amazon you may find it cheaper. you if you have a small bar puller that may work https://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Driv...IAAOSwevlaDzIE |

Re: Rookie
Nope, not even close ..definitely stock clutch, what is a good source for a belt like that? I found this is it the same? Some state 4 cycle engines others are silent? A bit confusing..
