Ping, from what I've gathered amperage output of these lithium packs is going to major hurdle for aftermarket performance. They only rate them at 250-300amps I'm not sure what they are actually capable of tho.

Does anyone know what the estimated range is in sport mode? Does it have a longer range than its 48 volt counterpart? It’s the one piece of information I can’t seem to find.

I’m interested in buying a HP Li-ion from my dealer in Austin. One question I can’t get a straight answer on is the range. I’m curious what your experience has been so far? Have you been able to see how far you can go on a charge? Did you have your dealer set it up for sport mode?

Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!

I had my car programmed at 4 for Sport and 1 for regen. Its perfect in this setup imo. I was told that I should get approx 19 miles on a full charge. Have not tested this though.

Just bought one. It’s being delivered Tuesday or Wednesday.

I have not bought a cart for many years. One of my friends that bought one fairly recently said the dealer would not budge on the build order price. On these Onward lithium carts, is there room to haggle a bit or is the configured price on the Club Car website written in stone?

I had a trade involved and my dealer gave me a very fair price for it solely based on pictures I sent them but I paid full price for the cart. My guess would be there’s $500-1000 haggling room.

I hope this helps those interested or wondering how far the new 2020 Onward
Li-Ion Club Car can travel. Because I wondered and was told before my purchase that it "should travel" approx 19 miles, I did my own test. My Car is programmed set at Sport Mode and a low #1 brake regen. This was my findings:

Using my Nike Run app, I started with a full charge and only myself as a rider (I weigh 165 lbs) and at 2.25 miles at a relative even elevation at full to half throttle, my battery indicator showed a 90% charge. On my second test, it again dropped another 10% to 80% charge at another 2.35 miles. If my math is right, I could potentially go approx 20.5 miles until I reach a 90% discharged battery or almost 23 miles to empty !

I'm sure weight, terrain and any add-ons affecting aerodynamics could affect the range.

*Also affecting range would be the programmed mode. You should get much further range in a less aggressive setup imo.
