For what it's worth. I bought some Sam's club 8v batteries a little over 5 yrs ago. They are just now getting to where they need to be replaced. I do not know the brand of them. I may go out in a bit and see. But I think they had white bottoms with a red top. Maybe I just got lucky!!

I went today to Deka and they make the batteries for my local Sam's Club. I was able to purchase the batteries for $93 after they deducted for the core charge. I bought a set of 13" 2/0 AWG welding cables for $9.13 ea. The batteries are 165 amp hour. 121 min @ 56 amps.
