2003 Gas club car jerks at idle forwar and reverse

My 2003 gas club car wants to have a jerking motion at low idle like speeds both forward and reverse. Runs good when speed up. Wondering if there is any way to adjust the forward and reverse at idle to smooth out the movement. Any ideas. Thanks

Does it jerk from a dead stop? or when your driving about 2 MPH?

when you get the cart to first start moving forwards or backwards it wants to jerk. after you build up a little speed its ok. I've put new belts on it , tried different plugs still same thing. I recently put a lift kit and bigger tires, but it was doing the same thing before I did the lift kit.
