There is a three wire plug coming off the OBC. Run a jumper from the yellow wire to the solenoid. If it works then your OBC suspect.

Sorry. Run that jumper from the yellow wire to the B- on the controller

Thanks John: I will try that tomorrow. This is only my second Club Car. Prefer the Yamaha line. Currently have a G19e.

That is where I have the jumper now. It runs fine with the jumper in place

Yes sir. I can't take credit for that info though, had a buddy walk me through eliminating the OBC. That yellow wire is the only one still needed after taking the OBC out.

Ah that's kinda what I figured after reading your post again. Your best bet is to eliminate the OBC, sell your stock charger and get a GDI stand alone charger. I got a very good deal on mine if you want that information.

Last after market I bought was from DPI in Tenn. Cost me about $325

Confirmed that OBC is toast. Hooked up charger today and would not charge. Back of OBC (Toward the front of the cart) has a big blister and it is all black under the blister
