Default 03' 48v CC DS w/new Trojans no ground no Power

I have just recently replaced the batteries in my 03' Club Car DS w/new Trojans and have absolutely no power. Nothing...I have made sure the batteries are placed correctly. I have the place where I originally purchased the cart looking at it and they are saying because there is no ground anywhere the CPU and possibly the controller is bad. Just looking for a second opinion on this as the cart worked just fine before the new batteries were installed. Thanks.
