2018 Drive 2 AC speed and Distance per charge

Just curious if anyone has one of these and if the AC makes it any faster than the old DC carts? Looking for a way to go faster.

Also, what the range you get with these? is it over 20 miles?

Speed is 19.x mph per the lawyers. It's capable of plenty more, but locked up. Never neasured range. Power is light-years better then the DC drives.

is there a way to unlock it. Or we stuck at 19mph?

Controller is made by Toyota, and seems locked up tighter than fort knox. Can do 10.5:1 high speed gears and get good speed without losing too much power. That gearset was designed for the rxv (uses same Dana axle), but it's a good ratio for AC drives. The 2 bearings on the intermediate shaft will need to be replaced with slightly different size.

Bearing part number 6204 at the local auto parts store.
