Default 07 ydre loses power

I’m having trouble with my 07 Yamaha ydre. It will work fine every once in awhile then sometimes you go to push the pedal down and it’ll surge forward about a foot and stop and The solenoid will click off about 5 seconds after that happens. So here’s what I’ve done to try and figure it out so far. I wired around the tow/run switch to make sure that wasn’t bad it still did it. Put a new F/R switch on didn’t help. Wired around the stop switch on foot pedal didn’t help. Bought a new oem controller put it on didn’t fix it so I’m sending it back. So now I’m thinking it’s the motor but I wanted to get your opinion first before buy one. After it cuts out you can reset the tow/run switch and It might go again or it will loses power when I push the pedal again reserve buzzer shuts off when it loses power.

Had a similar issue with my '06 G22 after installing a lift kit. Ended up being simple- motor connection loose.
May be restating the obvious, but batteries good? all connections checked and snugged? Hope it's as simple as that.

My 2009 G29 is doing similar. Some days it runs just fine, but lately, when you press the pedal, nothing. But it you go to the bottom and slowly back up the solenoid will lift and drop, but won’t do so when you actually push the pedal. The only way I can get it to run is start pushing it a foot or two and then it’ll run, but will drop out and lose power. And now today it has started stuttering when creeping. I smell something coming from the motor. I’ve already replaced the brushes back during deer season. I’m guessing it’s time to find another motor..
