Grinding noise
I have a 2006 EZ-GO electric cart that is making a grinding noise that is coming from the rear while driving , it will run at high or low speed , i have taken the the right rear wheel off and inspected the bearings and they look in good condition. It makes the noise at a certain point in the revolution of the wheel or axle each time, does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Re: Grinding noise
Did you inspect the inside of the brake drum?

Re: Grinding noise
just had the same noise from mine and discovered that the spline gear on the hub had stripped out. Had to replace the hub/brake drum and took care of it. Simple place to start anyway.

Re: Grinding noise
Did jsauls1 ever find the problem with his cart? I am having the same problem and looking for solutions. Not meaning to Hijack but this is very old anyway, how do I inspect for the spline gear? Pull the wheel and look? Sorry I'm new with golf carts.
