Default 1997 TXT Pre-MCI No Spark

Hi Guys, Ive been away from carts a while, other than some service work. That being said, years ago, after multiple issues I said, Ill Never touch another TXT with a PRE/or MCI motor....A friend begged me to figure his out, im dead in the water. No Spark, Found the Orange wire burned off the Igniter, OK easy enough, he had a new Aftermarket one that came with the new coil he bought. I cleaned all grounds, coil mounting, etc...Installed new Igniter, Tested Coil and Pulsar(Both in spec.). No Spark, Tried another Offshore Igniter, No Spark. Chased all the wiring, replaced any loose connectors. Battery is just over 12v at rest. Ive made a new Battery Cable as well, all those connections are good. Im Stumped, Is there any way to test an Igniter? I saw one from 10LOL and they show it being wired differently, which concerns me, are the new ones supposed to be wired differently to fix an issue, or are they wrong? the Wiring on the igniter is all the same as the OEM one. Thanks!!

The only reliable way to test the igniter is to try it in a known working cart. otherwise look for a supplier that sells the Redhawk brand. these are known to be good so far.
