Voltage regulator interchange?
I need a voltage regulator for my 92 marathon, and from what I have seen it is around $40, the ones for newer 4 strokes appear to be wired the same, just different connectors for about half the price.
Are the starter/generators the same for these? If so, I know the newer regulator wont be a problem. Thanks Stevie |

Re: Voltage regulator interchange?
I have used v/r's off of different carts, not only different models but brands as well. Connections may be different but they all do the same thing

Re: Voltage regulator interchange?
A solid state voltage regulator from an '84 Dodge Omni works great. I used one in my cart for a year with no problems - consistent 14 volts

Re: Voltage regulator interchange?
With only 2 wires from the Omni regulator how does it connect, the ground is the regulator to frame but what about the other two wires from the pigtail. Thanks
