Default Leaving my EZ-GO XPress In Florida garage during summer…

Just bought a Express Elite 2.2. We are seasonal here in sw Fla. my concern is leaving it in the garage from May 1st until December. I plant to fully charge then disconnect the charger, put her in tow mode and walk away.
Its the hi temps the inside of my garage will have and the effects on the Samsung lithium battery that concern me.
Any opinions fellas ?

I would disconnect the battery pack. Don't leave it fully charged. Leave it at 50% or so. I'm not sure if the BMS draws any current in that state. I used to leave my Lithium in my Arizona garage all summer with everything disconnected but I could disconnect my BMS. It had the same state of charge when I returned 5 months later.

Ok. Thanks
I wonder if “Tow Mode” is the equivalent of disconnecting the battery.

Not sure if it is. In my Yamaha, it isn't. Lithium doesn't self discharge much at all but if there are any small loads on it, then it will discharge. That's why I disconnected my BMS when I left my cart over the summer.

Disconnect any BMS first, then disconnect the battery pack in that order
BMS does take some power to run.
Lithium has a very low self-discharge rate.

Make sure battery pack is ~ half charged but not less than 1/3 charged and you should be good to go.
