Default New Big Block Conversion. Help needed...

Was seriously considering buying this for my conversion from electric to gas.

Think this will have enough torque, and some recommendations on motor mounts for my 1998 EzGo TXT?

Thanks...

That's one heck of a hit and miss engine.

I thought you wanted a big block? Here's one I though about for a second.

I'll do the larger engine, and use the smaller one as a starter...

Just a side note - that Fairbanks Morse diesel, or any hit and miss type engine for that matter, is really something everyone should hear sometime in their life in person. It's running under no load in the video, which is why it also isn't firing on all cylinders (hard to make one of these run right without load on them). One of these beasts under load make a great powerful sound - it's worth a youtube search.

My dad actually has a couple small hit and miss engines and they are really cool to see started and to hear run.

That one is super cool sounding and love the way it's blowing smoke rings.
