Most Electric motors (AC) use a capacitor to start them. For the Amps requirements for your cart a capacitor bank may need to be way bigger/heavier than what it would provide over what you are doing now.
May have to use AC motor.

Zilla controllers are on hold...On the 2009 drag cart. I went with a DC Speed controller. On the 2010 drag cart I went with a NetGain controller..
