Default My clone belt turns over when running any help

So I was running the cart a week or 2 ago and all of the sudden the cart felt weird so I lifted the seat and the belt turned inside out for no reason I have the clutches all in line and there doesn't seem like nothing's in a bind but the belt was worthless after that

I bought everything from Geoff so I know nothing is mis matched or what not

Anyone have any opinions

04 ez with 420 predator 94c clutch with a stock driven and the belt came from Vegas

The only time I've ever heard of that happening is when the clutches were not properly aligned. Sometimes if the engine flexes during acceleration the clutches will temporarily come out of alignment, depending upon which way the engine moves. I've seen where a homemade cradle was off just a hair and when it flexed the belt would rub and wear funky. In those scenarios it's possible to see a belt flip.

Yea I was offroad the first time it happened flexing it out in a retention pond and the second time was on the asphalt

I'm going to check the alighnment of it again come to think about it, it seemed like the belt was binding a little when I would start out on the cart

Once a belt turns inside out, replace it. But you need to figure why it did in the first place so you don't ruin another one.

Good point!

I agree. It'll have the tendency to do it again if the belt has any twist to it. The cords in the belt will actually shift.
