While Gregorio is doing the work thing, we will have to keep ourselves entertained while we wait on the results of his Lithium conversion. Gotta hate it when work gets in the way of hobbies.

Being short of posts may not be a bad thing ... a fella is likely going to get in more trouble with a girl in your cart than with a dog in your cart ... just saying ... be careful what you wish for.

Well, I checked everything and rechecked it two more times. It all looked good so I lit her up. 5 green blinks followed by solid green on the Alltrax. Switch from N to F and get reverse buzzer sounding in F. $#!+ Somehow I didn't get the F/R switch plugged back correctly. Easy fix. Reverse buzzer now only sounding in R but no movement in either direction. No solenoid click. OK. Break out the laptop. Change the Charger Interlock to H/L but still no joy. Status still indicated that charger was connected. Quick splice on White and Blue OBC wires solved that. Switch from N to F and press the go pedal only to find myself going backwards! $#!+ had a 50/50 chance and got it wrong. Reversed the field wires and I now have everything working! Well, only if you don't count the 12V stuff - trigger wire not getting 48v from key. I'll get to that after dinner...maybe.

Initial impressions are that the generic motor map program needs a lot of tweeking or maybe there is a better one for my stock GE tin can. Acceleration is brisk but not much better than stock. Top speed is still about 14MPH but it holds it up our steepest hill, now. Before and after heat measurements after a 45 second run uphill flat out were arguably the same. Regen is pretty much non-existent. I will learn more about the Alltrax software before I dive in and make any changes. It might be as simple as taking out of turf mode.

Thanks to scottyb and all the rest of the site sponsors for supplying the parts and everyone here for the subsequent answers to my questions.
