wire routing question
hello everyone,
1991 ezgo marathon 36 volt electric This cart sits very low to the ground which I don't like but it is what it is. What I do not like is wires are routed underneath the body and there really is not a good place for this, one reason why the old back running lights and old headlights wires was ripped off the cart. even the wire that goes to the key switch on the dash slightly sags. there has go to be a good way to route these so your not zip tying them to the brake cables. where or how is the recommended path for wires to go. it would be the wires from the key switch, battery meter, usb charger, and from the reducer/fuse panel to the dash what gauge wire should be from the key switch to the motor, controller whatever it connects too, right now its a speaker wire maybe 14-16gauge and would leaving it alone and not replacing it be an issue? then the reducer has a green wire that goes to the reducer but I have been told the battery meter's power wire could/should be spliced/connected to that wire and the meter would be turned on and off with the key switch and would a 3 conductor push guard connection work here with the meter wire, green reducer wire going into it and one wire going from it to the key switch? thank you all ryan |
