2007 pds moves slowly and lurches Speed sensor??

I recently changed batteries in my 2007 PDS after nearly 10 years. Today it will only move slowly And will bog down at any type of incline. Diagnostic codes are indicating the speed sensor on the motor. Also when pushing the car on level ground there are no beeps. Is there a way to test the sensor? Perhaps measure voltage at the controller plug.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The push test is what I do to test the speed sensor on my Yamaha cart. Check the connections and if they are good, you need to replace the speed sensor.

Thanks I also did connect voltage meter to the connector at the controller. Black and red are 13volts. Black and white are 0.2v and no change when rotating the wheel by hand. Also no beep when pushing the cart. So I assume and hope its the speed controller.
