Anyone running high speed gears with a clone engine?
Just wondering if anyone is running high speed gears with a clone engine. My 98 EzGo has stock gears, whatever that ratio may be with a stock 16HP clone. It runs 28-29 mph verifeied with a gps. I have the HD valve springs just havent installed them yet. Also plan to install the 8 degree key to advance the timing. Geoff with Vegas carts tells me these 2 inexpensive mods alone should put me in the low to mid 30's. Just curious what kind of speeds I could expect if I did the gear swap.
