1989 ezgo elec
ok, i jumped the selonoid, and it clicked . does this mean its ok? and is there a way to test the resistor or where should i go from here? golf cart does nothing, it did run after first charge but then nothing after that!

It is a resistor cart then? Has a few resistor coils in a tin box in the middle of the battery bay?

yes it does have a tin box in middle of battery bay. there is also , i think its a resistor from the selonoid (small posts) to a little black (resistor?)

Back to your original question .... you jumped the solenoid and the cart did not run? Do you have a voltmeter? What is the battery pack voltage?
