Default Can someone help me with belt sizes?

Well as most of you know I have a Gx340 in my old G2 . Well I changed the oil a few days ago and found little peices of metal in it. Under reccomendation from friends and a small engine repair mechcanic, Im giving it a full rebuild and maybe some jetting mods as well.

I think the reason it has messed up is because the engine is leaned back at an angle too far not giving it enough oil to the front. Im going to move the engine back level but I am going to need a longer belt if I do this.

To make a long story short- I need to try to find a 46, 47 or maybe 48 inch belt with a width of 1-3/16. Ive looked on the internet for one and cant find any. If somone would help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

denniskirk.com
has a 46" Parts unlimited belt - longest one on the snowmobile catelog .
I would suggest moving up to a 1 1/4
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...e=&skuId=02137
lets get up to a 47" long belt

that

Thanks so much for the help. I would go to 1 1/4 but I dont think that would run to good on a Comet 94c would it? The biggest it can take is 1 3/16.

You should be able to use a "Sleezygo" dive belt for 1997-2004 4 cycle gas cars. OEM part# 36398-97. It's measures at 1-3/16" X 47-1/2" OD. Good Luck Dave
