Default 2008 Yamaha PDS questions

Is there anything I need to look out for on a 2008 Yamaha PDS? Here is what I know about it: Has 4-12volt trojan batts, is the wider body with contoured seats, holds charge for days without running down, asking $1800. I'm wanting turn it into a hunting buggy/family fun at the lake cart. Any info will help because I want to go look and maybe get today and it's 2 hrs away so I don't want to waste my time if it's not a good deal. Does anyone know what model this would be also? Thanks in advance.

Just my 2 cents worth. 1800 is a good price for a clean car like that. Can you get the batteries "downloaded" to know there condition? Don't know what "PDS" is, but with a Yamaha "The Drive/G29" you can upgrade to a "PTV", witch is a code inputed into the controller for upto/max 19 mph. It needs head and tail lites and reflectors to qualify for the upgrade by Yamaha standards. Good luck

Hey smallblock thanks for the reply. What do you mean by download the batteries? Pics? I think PTV is what he means because with what little I do know PDS is an EZGO cart, but it doesn't have the lights or reflectors on it so I doubt it has been upgraded.
