Yamaha Light Kits
When shopping for a headlight kit for my Yamaha Drive G29, do other models fit or does it have to be one specifically for the G29?
Also they recommend a voltage reducer...why is that, and how much are they. Is this a large item that needs to be mounted in the battery compartment? And is it difficult to install? Thanks for the help. |

Re: Yamaha Light Kits
a reducer lets you run your lights off your whole battery pack, alot of people just find a 12 volt location on the pack but it will cause those batterys to wear out faster, reducers are kinda expencive especially if you need a 25 to 30 amp for lights and sterio, but for just lights a 10 amp will do fine about 100 dollers for a good one, but you can get them cheaper. hope this helps you.
