Need a new frame..after accident
Hello,
Just looking for some insight. I have an 03 DS which was involved in a serious accident this weekend, hitting a curb with passenger wheel at 35 mph. So looking at the frame from the front, the aluminum I beams are cracked and shifted towards the driver about 4 inches, and towards the back about 3. I have access to a 1990 club car ds frame. Will this work for my application? I wanted to remove my body, batteries rear axle, mcor and all wiring and transfer it to the other frame. After a brief look at it, the only issue I see is mounting the controller and obc. Does anyone else see an issue with this? Thanks in advance. |

Controller shouldn't be a big deal to mount , do away with the OBC and get a new charger.

Where are you located? I've got some early 2000 frames.

By the way, whats a frame go for?
Really looking for the front end parts too, as mine are seriously messed up. Bent spring, cracked hub, bent spindle, rack is cracked, etc |

Re: Need a new frame..after accident
I know it will. The pedal assembly is totally different than the old style. You're gonna have to get creative in order to make the MCOR work with the old style accelerator pedal and return spring.
Check out the link that RIB33024 posted. It's a thread showing pics of all of the frames that I have. I have tons of front suspension parts as well. |

Re: Need a new frame..after accident
I hope someone has helped you in 4 years. By the way, did you mount the controller and obc? I was thinking that insurance might help you. I also had a problem - my DS was recently hit by a cyclist. Although the games are not held now due to the quarantine, but I went out to check if everything is in order with my car. I was just getting to the Golf course when a cyclist bumped into me. It turned out that his brakes failed. Well, we dealt with bicycle accident attorney los Angeles and, in the end, the insurance paid for the damage. But I needed money for the controller. I don't know why DS began to slow down terribly, and became clumsy. So can I PM you and find out more details about the repairs?
