Default New to me 2003 Club Car Electric

I just bought a 2003 Club Car electric cart to use on a fly-in community. It's my first cart.

The cart was for sale as a trade-in at a local store and I bought it as-is. The cart appears to be very well kept. I am handy and plan on doing maintenance and a few upgrades but I have a few questions:

1) What is the model of this cart? I am trying to find something on it and there is only a serial number.

2) The cart runs well, the batteries (18 months old) hold a good charge, but when I release the accelerator and coast, there is a moaning noise from the rear axle or gear-box. I am trying to diagnose this.

3) What is the best source (once I identify the model) for a service manual?

Thanks for letting me in!

Eric

1) What is the model of this cart? I am trying to find something on it and there is only a serial number. The first four digits will be the year and production week.

2) The cart runs well, the batteries (18 months old) hold a good charge, but when I release the accelerator and coast, there is a moaning noise from the rear axle or gear-box. I am trying to diagnose this. Most likely motor brushes or break shoes and is common.

Many available on line once you know the year.
Thanks for letting me in!

1) post the serial number located under the dash near the column
2) possibly the regen brake system, uses the motor as a generator to slow the cart. more info needed
3) here is the best manual you can find :) look in the stickys to find powerdriveII manual, wiring diagrams and misc info

I know the year, just not the model. It's a 2003.

Thanks all. I’m on a lot of forums for various things and I can’t believe the quick responses.

The serial number is AQ0310-264007
