It was a 48v cart originally, The AA serial number is a 48v powerdrive cart.
A 36v cart would not have an OBC. (module with the small 6 wire harness) to the left of the controller)
I've seen pictures of many 48v carts with 36v ratings on the motors. It is not uncommon for a 36v motor to be used on 48v. The motor is fine with the higher voltage, and I would not be surprised if CC spec'd a 36v motor for that cart from the factory. Or maybe someone swapped it in the past thinking they could get some extra speed from the cart. Either way, it's fine to run that motor as is.

What electrics are missing? Looks to me like everything is there, but it could probably use new cables, and I might be tempted to replace that solenoid just because the terminals are so rusty.

Was just referring to the wiring diagram I saw here post #1 listed as 89-03 36 volt but now have seen the OBC.

Thanks for all of the help and confirmation on what Iíve got here. When I posted originally, I was not sure what was what based on the motor and then seeing other parts reference a different voltage.

Since visiting here I have been able to confirm the MCOR is still installed, the OBC is there, and I have a speed control. I donít have a f-n-r switch or charging connection. The wiring harness was hacked out by the previous owner, so Iíve got to work all of that out.

At this point, I am sort of leaning to ripping everything out and just starting over. All of the electrical is corroded and I question itís ability to be reliable once itís running. Then again, it all could very well be junk?

I posted an ad in the classifieds here looking for a harness, but may have to bite the bullet and buy new if available. I know I can make my own, but not sure I want to deal with that.

I got this thing for almost nothing more than the cost of the gas to pick it up, so I donít mind investing some money to get it back to a respectable state, especially because the rest of the cart is in great shape.

Anyhow, I appreciate the help and advice that you folks are willing to share with me...

FWIW-I bought a new harness (my cart had nothing so I am building everything new) for under $100. Money well spent in my book :)
