This was my take on the idea, kinda low profile and low budget, but it's the cart I use at work so I couldn't modify much.

I used 2 pieces of 3/4 EMT and flattened the ends in a vice then I drilled a hole that allowed me to use the existing bolt in the brush guard.

Ohhhhh,I had to go poke around too, most of the stuff in there is pretty old.
That was an incidence of me trying to handle one of my Reticulated Pythons when he didn't want to be handled, I knew better but persisted anyway.
Those holes and shredded arteries in my forearm were the result.
I have not made that mistake since.

And after getting interrupted multiple times while trying to post this at work I'll try again now. Please excuse the dirty cart its been up and down the muddy trail to the neighbors alot over the holidays. Quick photos of my whip antenna mount.
