Default Re: Charger lights solid green - still charging

So to follow up. I called Club Car and it took a couple tries to get thru to Tech Service. Tech tried to be helpful but couldn’t give me an answer and referred me to Delta Q. Calling them does not work but I sent an email and got a response in 2 hours. After a couple back and forth emails found out the following. Delta Q Eric profile 256 is designed for Trojan T-105 batteries - 225 aH at 20 hr. He also said that this profile is more aggressive than profile 3 which should be used for T-875’s. For Die Hard GC8’s the algorithm is 71. He also stated that 256 is too aggressive for T-875’s. I changed the algorithm tonight and will be calling the dealer that sold me the cart to educate him so this doesn’t happen to another customer of his.

If the profile #256 is programmed for the 6v battery, it is probably similar to #1 which has a 2.43vpc absorption voltage with a max voltage of 2.8vpc.

Both #3 and #71 provide a 2.35vpc absorption voltage (max 2.7vpc), the difference is the finishing current, profile #3 has 6 amps and #71 has 3.5 amps.
