Changing 1998 CC with Resistor speed control to 48v
Hi,
I am working with a friend on his cart. It is a ?1998? with resistor coil speed control. It was originally a 36v cart, but he had good 8v batts from another cart. We changed to the 48v system and it runs great. Is it possible to use the 48v charger, with computer wire? If I change to the 2 prong cable, positive to positive and neg to neg, can I ground the gray cable on the negative end of the battery pack to show voltage to the charger? Thanks, Kirk |

That just closes in the relay. It will not correctly charge as you have no OBC to control the transformer (Powerdrive)
