Re: On/Off switch for 25 amp converter
Hey Scottyb,
Thanks for the visual! One question. What is the green wire? The instructions say it is the 36v from ignition. Looks like you have 2 wires. |

Re: On/Off switch for 25 amp converter
Fishing Dude,
I'm looking at what you are suggesting, connecting the on/off for the converter to the solenoid. I'm not seeing a difference between the switch on or off and the posts on the solenoid. All posts show the same voltage in on or off..... Care the give a hint?!?! |

Re: On/Off switch for 25 amp converter
I used a single pole light switch under the seat. I used it to break the ground. Simple and $1

Re: On/Off switch for 25 amp converter
I run all of my accessories, with the exception of headlights, off of the reducer through a multiple input blue seas fuse bar with a separate negative buss bar. I used a toggle under the seat as a power up switch for the reducer.
I use the power up switch to avoid a small drain while the cart is stored for long periods. I don't mind a small drain on the power when I am on the island using the cart regularly; otherwise, I would have to constantly reset the stereo clock, etc. Just an thought if you are going to install any accessories with a memory feature. |
