Default Batteries: Good deal or not?

So doing my research I think I have found that AutoCraft batteries are made by Johnson Controls. With the current discounts that advanced is offering I can purchase 6 6v Batteries for 460.00 with their discounts. I can purchase 3 individually this week for instore pickup at 109.99 with 15% discount plus 50.00 off a purchase in December. Again that will give me 2 50.00 coupons to use in December on Batteries bringing them to 60.00 a piece for the 3. Considering they have a 1 year full warranty and a 2 year prorated warranty I would really like thoughts on this.

I know life expectancy is an issue but this is a camping cart and we are pretty anal about charging.

Sounds like a good plan.

A word of caution

Do not mix the new batteries with old batteries for charging. This will damage the new batteries.

So buy them, and shelve them until you have all 6.

Thanx Scotty. Would it make sense to purchase the 2 ga kit from you when doing this for later use. My cables look a little old and if I need to get new cables I would rather upgrade for more later.

Cable upgrades are always a good idea.
I always like to see new cables on new batteries

They will only issue one $50. coupon per account. To get two you will need have someone else buy the third battery
